It was established in Riga in 2011, taking over the broad experience of the education and consultancy centre SIA Eurofortis in realization of the EU supported international projects in the field of education and training.
Biedrība Eurofortis takes active part in European educational projects realized within the framework of the Lifelong Learning Programme and ensures availability of educational and up-to-date learning materials, tools and methods, as well as seminars, mobilities and other different training within projects mostly aimed at identification, development and improvement of entrepreneurial competences and knowledge.
Biedrība Eurofortis cooperated during past years with more than 10% of Latvian schools especially from rural areas and the connected educational regional authorities and local libraries as important multipliers in the rural areas. Organization is a member of the Latvian Society for Quality (KVALB) that is founded with the objective to develop competence in the area of quality management. One of the aim of KVALB is development of LV economy through prosperity and efficiency of LV businesses. Another important partner of Biedriba Eurofortis is CAL – Civic Alliance-Latvia (abbr. CAL) umbrella organization acting in field of advocacy of non-governmental organizations at the national level. Today CAL unites 135 diverse organizations of local, regional and national level from every field of interaction and individuals who support the aim of the organization.
Biedrība Eurofortis cooperates with schools on daily basis – more than 10% of all Latvian schools cooperated with us on various projects in last 6 years (some project were hold under Biedriba Eurofortis, some of them under Eurofortis SIA).
Also several projects related to ECVET project were done under Biedriba Eurofortis and our members are cooperating with few National experts in ECVET in Latvia.
The project aims at developing an integrated training system through the use of serious games practices and augmented reality technologies, which will provide employees at postal organisations the ability to track, acquire, broaden and self-assess the necessary competencies arising from their daily tasks.
