On the 31st of May 2018, the Closure Conference for the European Project Ex.Tra 3D (“Experiential Training in 3D Virtual”), was held in Athens. The partners of this project are: SQLearn (Leader), KEK-ELTA, Hellenic Post, Cyprus Post, Compania Nationala Posta Romana, Tournis Consulting (Greece), Greta Du Velay (France), Eurofortis (Latvia), Eurocert (Greece) and Inosalus (Portugal).
The Closure Conference titled “Changing the Game” – organized by KEK-ELTA – was a great success, as there were attendants from Hellenic Post, executives from many companies, as well as external collaborators who all showed great interest for the project, as Customer Service is a very important issue in all companies and all training activities on this subject are considered extremely important.
The Conference was greeted by the Director of Minister’s Office, Hellenic Ministry of Digital Policy, Telecommunications and Media, Mr Panagiotis Skoutas, the Chairwoman of BoD, Hellenic Post S.A. – ELTA Mrs. Efrosyni Stavraki, as well as the Press Secretary and Public Relations, Hellenic Federation of Postal Associations, Mr Giorgos Papanikolaou.
Welcoming the audience, the Chairwoman of BoD, Hellenic Post S.A. – ELTA Mrs Efrosyni Stavraki, referred to the importance of Ex.Tra 3D project and the quality customer service, emphasizing on the following:
“Ex.Tra 3D Project is the proof that an initial idea can be successfully put into action and that the up to date postal operators choose to invest on their people in a creative and innovative way, using new methods of training that benefit the employees as well as the entire society”.
The Conference, involved presentations of the most integral parts of the project’s course, emphasizing on the collaborative e-learning platform, which was the result of the project. The representatives of Cyprus and Romanian Post, described the experience of their trainees with the platform, as well as their positive impressions and their evaluation of the platform as innovative and original.
Positive and encouraging were also the comments of Hellenic Post Theatrical Team, who attended the conference and supported the Ex.Tra 3D project, through filming the experiential training videos, thus featuring a new approach to training. The Chairman of ELTA’s Cultural Center (POKE ELTA) as well as the director of the team,
Stated that they are available to support any training venture that enforces the relationship between the post and the society, a relationship that constitutes the main advantage of the postal operations against their competition.
The closure of the Conference featured the award ceremony for the first trainees that successfully completed the training program, which was held in an atmosphere of joy and solidarity.
