Cyprus Post, on the occasion of the completion of the European program ERASMUS + “EXPERIENTIALTRAINING IN 3DVIRTUAL – CUSTOMER SERVICE”, organized a closing event on 21stMay 2018, at Cleopatra Hotel in Lefkosia.
The event was attended by the Minister of Transport, Communications and Works, Mrs. Vassiliki Anastasiadou, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr. Alekos Michaelides, as well as other guests from Cyprus and abroad.
The Program, in which the Cyprus Post participated as partner, among ten (10) Postal Operators and other Organizations, was inaugurated in 2015 and was completed at the end of May 2018. Its aim was to create and develop an innovative educational tool for the training of staff, with emphasis on the front line staff, in a way that would enhance the customer oriented policy of the Cyprus Post. This program was integrated into an online platform that includes scenarios, videos, games, real life cases etc.
Within this framework, 40 employees were trained online during their free time, with the support of 3 in-house trainers who had received special training for this purpose. All employees completed the program successfully obtaining high grades. During the event, the certificates of success were awarded to the employees by the Minister, the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, the Director of Cyprus Post and the Director of the Certification Company from Greece.
